Chelsea FC want £62m for 25-year-old this summer – report
Chelsea FC tell AC Milan that they will have to pay £62m if they want to sign Alvaro Morata this summer, say reports

Chelsea FC have told AC Milan that they will have to pay £62m if they want to sign Alvaro Morata this summer, according to reports in the British media.
Sky Sports is reporting that negotiations between the two clubs got under way on Wednesday ahead of Morata’s proposed move to AC Milan this summer.
Morata’s future has been something of a source of speculation this summer after he struggled to produce consistent form in the top flight in his first campaign at the club.
The 25-year-old signed for Chelsea FC from Real Madrid last summer and made a strong start to life at Stamford Bridge, but his form tailed off in the second part of the campaign after he struggled with a back injury.
According to the same story, Milan’s new sporting director, Leonardo, had a series of phone conversations about a potential move for Morata.
The same article claims that Morata himself is keen on a move back to Italy, where his wife is from, after he spent two years at Juventus.
However, it is also reported in the same story that the two clubs are still pretty far apart in their valuation of the Spanish striker, so it remains to be seen if a deal can be done.
