Alvaro Morata could return to Chelsea FC from Atletico Madrid this summer, say reports

Alvaro Morata could return to Chelsea FC from Atletico Madrid this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph, as quoted by FourFourTwo, is reporting that Spain international’s future appears to be up in the air after he joined Atletico Madrid on an 18-month loan deal back in January.
Following his switch at the start of the year, it was widely assumed that the 26-year-old’s Chelsea FC career was over.
However, according to the report, Chelsea FC have told Atletico Madrid that they will recall him this summer unless they agree to pay £50m to sign him on a permanent basis.
Chelsea FC are currently banned from signing players for two transfer windows after being handed the punishment by Fifa.
According to the same story, Morata could be set for a “dramatic” return to west London if Atletico Madrid opt not to pay his asking price.
The striker scored six goals and made one assist in 15 La Liga appearances for Atletico Madrid in the second half of last season.
Chelsea FC finished in third place in the Premier League table and won the Europa League last term before Maurizio Sarri left the club to join Juventus last month.
