Eden Hazard says Chelsea FC have their sights firmly set on winning the Premier League title under Maurizio Sarri this season.
The west London side continued their 100 per cent start to the new Premier League season on Sunday afternoon when they sealed a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
The win left the Blues in third place in the Premier League table and level on points with early leaders Liverpool FC in the race for the top flight title this term.
Hazard netted the penalty at St James’ Park to send Chelsea FC on their way towards victory to keep up their solid start to the new season.
And Belgian playmaker Hazard seems to think that the Blues have what it takes to challenge for the title under their new manager this season.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports on Sunday after the game, Hazard said: “We need to keep this momentum.
“We want to be at the top at the end of the season. It is just the beginning but confidence is coming and the goals are coming.”
Chelsea FC will look to make it four wins on the spin in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon when they host Bournemouth in the top flight this weekend.
The Blues ended up fifth in the table and won the FA Cup last season under Antonio Conte.
