Christian Pulisic opens up about his move to Chelsea FC from Borussia Dortmund this summer

Christian Pulisic has admitted that he is still having to pinch himself following his move to Chelsea FC this summer.
The USA international joined the Blues from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window after the west London club agreed a deal to land him in the January transfer window.
Pulisic, 20, has been put straight into the first team by Frank Lampard and the attacker was particularly impressive during Chelsea FC’s Uefa Super Cup defeat by Liverpool FC last week.
He started his first ever Premier League game at the weekend when he played 71 minutes of Chelsea FC’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City at Stamford Bridge in the top flight.
Pulisic will be hoping to hold down a regular spot in the first team this season and help to fill some of the void left by Eden Hazard’s summer departure to Real Madrid.
And the American has now admitted that he is thrilled to be getting to grips with life at his new club.
Speaking in an interview with the Chelsea FC magazine, Pulisic said: “I was super excited to be here the whole time after it was agreed, but I had a job to do with Dortmund so I had to focus on that.
“Now I’m here it’s amazing. Honestly, I didn’t really know what to expect, but at the same time it’s everything I hoped it would be.
“It’s crazy to be here, to have this jersey on. It still doesn’t feel real.”
Pulisic will be hoping to feature from the start once again on Saturday when Chelsea FC travel to Norwich City in the Premier League looking for their first competitive win under Lampard.
