Chelsea FC will make a decision about Maurizio Sarri’s future at the club after the Europa League final showdown with Arsenal at the end of the month, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Blues are delaying making a decision about his future until after the clash in Baku later this month.

The Italian boss was appointed as the club’s new manager last July but it has been something of a mixed first season for the former Napoli manager, with Chelsea FC ending up third in the Premier League and losing the League Cup final to Manchester City.

The west London side will be aiming to finish the campaign on a positive note when they take on Arsenal in Baku in the Europa League final on 29 May, as they aim to end the season with some silverware.

According to the same story, Chelsea FC are yet to make a decision about Sarri’s future at the club and will wait until after the Europa League final to decide.

The same article says that there are concerns about a growing disconnect between Sarri and a section of his players and it remains to be seen whether he will stay on as Blues boss.

The story also points out that Sarri did not join the Chelsea FC players on their lap of appreciation at Stamford Bridge in their final home game of the season.
