Schalke could sign 22-year-old from Chelsea FC on loan – report
Schalke want to sign Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan but Chelsea FC may not allow the deal, say reports

German side Schalke are among a number of clubs interested in signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan from Chelsea FC this season, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the German side are keen on trying to bring the England midfielder to the Bundesliga before the transfer deadline for European clubs at the end of the month.
However, the same story says that it is still extremely unlikely that Loftus-Cheek will be allowed to leave Chelsea FC this summer, despite the fact that he did not start for the Blues in their 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town last weekend.
Schalke will apparently try and sign Loftus-Cheek this summer, but Tiemoue Bakayoko’s loan move to AC Milan has seemingly opened up some space in the Chelsea FC squad and that could mean that the England star ends up staying at the west London club this term.
Loftus-Cheek came on for the final 20 minutes of Chelsea FC’s opening day win over Huddersfield at the weekend, but he will still face competition from the likes of Ross Barkley, Cesc Fabregas and Mateo Kovacic for a spot in the Blues side.
Chelsea FC are getting ready to host Arsenal in their next Premier League game at The Emirates on Saturday.
