Belgian reporter gives update on key Chelsea FC star’s future
Kristof Terreur gives the latest update on Thibaut Courtois' proposed move from Chelsea FC to Real Madrid

Real Madrid have offered Chelsea FC a €35m fee plus €5m in bonuses to sign Thibaut Courtois this summer, according to Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper’s future has been a relentless source of speculation this summer after he entered into the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Courtois has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer, as some of the shot-stopper’s family already live in the Spanish capital.
It remains to be seen whether the deal will go through, but Chelsea FC are likely to want to bring in a replacement before the transfer window closes for Premier League clubs on Thursday.
Now, Belgian reporter Terreur has confirmed that the Spanish giants have already tabled an offer to bring Courtois to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Speaking in an interview on the Transfer Talk podcast, Terreur said: “Real Madrid were thinking of a deal of €35m and €5m in bonuses. They filed that offer a few weeks ago.”
Chelsea FC will kick off their Premier League campaign with a clash against Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues are currently preparing for their first season under Maurizio Sarri following his appointment as the club’s new manager last month.
The west London side finished in fifth place in the Premier League table and won the FA Cup last season.
