Tiemoue Bakayoko will stay at Chelsea FC beyond the summer transfer window unless an irresistible offer arrives, according to reports in the French media.
French outlet RMC Sport, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Chelsea FC midfielder’s agent has stressed that Bakayoko is likely to stay at the west London club beyond the summer transfer window.
Bakayoko endured something of a mixed debut campaign at Stamford Bridge last season as the midfielder struggled to adapt to the rigours of English football following his move to the club from Monaco last summer.
The French midfielder will now be looking to prove himself to new Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri as he bids to try and earn a regular spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge for next season.
According to the same story, Bakayoko’s entourage will not consider a move for the midfielder unless a quality offer is put on the table before the close of the transfer window.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC will be looking to try and challenge for the Premier League title next season after they finished in a disappointing fifth place in the table last term under Antonio Conte.
