Thierry Henry is tipping Tottenham to finish above Chelsea FC in the Premier League table this season
Thierry Henry is tipping Tottenham Hotspur to beat Chelsea FC to a top-four finish in the Premier League on their current form.
The Lilywhites have been in good form in recent weeks and they moved up into fourth place in the table on Sunday thanks to their 1-0 victory at Crystal Palace.
Chelsea FC lost ground in the race for Champions League qualification after they were beaten 2-1 by Manchester United at Old Trafford later on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs are currently two points ahead of Chelsea FC in the race for a top four finish with 10 games left to play this season.
And Arsenal legend Henry has reluctantly admitted that it looks as thought it will be Tottenham Hotspur who will finish above the Blues this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Sunday, Henry said: “Chelsea right now, they’ve obviously played Manchester United away, they are playing Man City away so they are having some difficult games at the minute.
“You would like to think they might go on a run after that. It’s going to be a fight.
“Four weeks ago I said Chelsea would be challenging for second! Now look at where they are right now!
“They are in trouble after losing back-to-back games recently, especially at home against Bournemouth.
“It looks like it’s going to be a battle between Tottenham and Chelsea [for fourth place] and the way the two teams are playing right now you will back Tottenham.”
Chelsea FC, who won the title in style last term, will aim to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they take on leaders Manchester City at The Etihad on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs, meanwhile, are currently gearing up for their home clash against Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon as they look to try and cement their place in the top four this season.
