Willian names the two clubs he would leave Chelsea FC for
Chelsea FC star Willian admits that he would love to one day play for Real Madrid or Barcelona
Willian has admitted that he dreams of playing for Real Madrid or FC Barcelona one day.
The Brazilian attacker is a firm favourite amongst Chelsea FC fans but Willian has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge under Antonio Conte this season.
Indeed, Willian has only started 13 of Chelsea FC’s Premier League games this season and it remains to be seen whether his long term future is at Stamford Bridge.
Willian was in fine form once again on Friday night when he scored two goals to fire Chelsea FC to a 4-0 victory over Hull City in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Now, the Brazil international has admitted that he would be open to a move to Real Madrid or FC Barcelona in the future if the opportunity arose.
Speaking in a Q&A with YouTube channel Resenha Delas, Willian said: “Barcelona and Real Madrid.
“I think they are the two biggest clubs in the world, Real Madrid and Barcelona. They are the clubs with the most visibility.
“It’s everyone’s dream to play for these clubs. Of course there are other great ones, like the one I play for, Chelsea, and PSG, other greats.
“But these two are different. These are two that everyone has the dream to play for.”
Willian will be hoping to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues return to Champions League action on Tuesday night with the first leg of their last 16 clash against FC Barcelona at Stamford Bridge.
However, it remains to be seen whether Antonio Conte will call on the Brazilian from the start or consign him to the bench.
