Gianfranco Zola admits that he is a huge admirer of Eden Hazard at Chelsea FC
Gianfranco Zola has admitted that Eden Hazard is his favourite Chelsea FC player to watch for the Blues.
The Belgian playmaker is widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s finest attacking talents and he has earned plenty of new admirers since his move to Chelsea FC from French side Lille back in 2012.
Hazard has been in decent form for the Blues this season since missing the start of the campaign with an ankle injury, scoring 11 goals and making three assists in 26 Premier League games.
The 27-year-old will be hoping to help Antonio Conte’s men turn around their stuttering form in the coming weeks as they look to try and end the season on a high.
And Zola has admitted that he is a huge admirer of Hazard because of his exciting style of play.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Blues legend Zola said: “Because we share the same position, I like watching Eden Hazard.
“He’s an amazing player and every year he seems to be getting better and better. He’s a very exciting player.”
Hazard will be expecting to feature for the west London side when the Blues take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues head into the game on the back of their disappointing 1-0 loss to Manchester City, which was their fourth loss in five Premier League outings.
