Gianfranco Zola makes promise to Chelsea FC fans
Gianfranco Zola insists he will give his all for Chelsea FC after joining Maurizio Sarri's coaching staff

Gianfranco Zola has insisted that he will give his all for Chelsea FC after joining Maurizio Sarri’s coaching staff at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea FC legend Zola has been appointed as Sarri’s assistant first team coach at Stamford Bridge in the wake of Antonio Conte’s sacking earlier this month.
Zola will be aiming to help Chelsea FC bounce back into winning ways in the Premier League after they ended up in fifth place and won the FA Cup last term.
Chelsea FC are likely to want to make a number of new signings in the coming weeks before the transfer window closes on 9 August.
And Zola has insisted that he will do his all to try and help the Blues get back towards the top of English football.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Zola said: “I realise it’s a big challenge for me personally; I feel this, I know this and I’m ready.
“As I said when I came many years ago as a player, I don’t know what the outcome is going to be but I will have the same attitude, to work hard and do the best I can for the cause.”
Chelsea FC have signed two players so far this summer after having wrapped up deals for goalkeeper Rob Green and midfielder Jorginho.
The west London side won the Premier League title in Conte’s first campaign at the club but struggled to produce consistent performances last term in his second season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
