Craig Burley is tipping Tottenham Hotspur to finish above Chelsea FC in the Premier League this season.
The Blues have turned to Maurizio Sarri in an attempt to reverse their ailing fortunes following a fifth place finish last term.
Antonio Conte paid the price for a disappointing season to result in Sarri’s appointment at Stamford Bridge last month.
Chelsea FC finished behind Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool FC in the top four race last term.
The Blues have made two signings in the summer transfer window, including Jorginho in a £57m deal from Serie A giants Napoli.
The FA Cup winners have also added veteran England goalkeeper Rob Green to improve their goalkeeper options.
Tottenham, on the other hand, haven’t made any signings in the summer transfer window so far.
Former Chelsea FC defender Burley believes Spurs will finished ahead of the Blues in the top four race.
“It is about right,” Burley told ESPN FC.
“Tottenham haven’t done a great deal either. They have continuity with coaching and players.
“I am going to go for Spurs at the moment because there is so much uncertainty at Stamford Bridge.”
Chelsea FC have missed out on a top four spot in two of the last three seasons in the Premier League.
