Chelsea FC transfer talks with Real Madrid on hold – report
Chelsea FC will not resume contract talks with Real Madrid about selling Thibaut Courtois until they've found a replacement, say reports

Chelsea FC will not resume transfer talks with Real Madrid about selling Thibaut Courtois until they have found a suitable replacement, according to reports in the British media.
Sky Sports is reporting that the the Blues will not reopen transfer talks with the Spanish giants before they have brought in a replacement for the Belgian goalkeeper.
Courtois has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer as his current contract with the west London club is due to expire next summer and the Blues will want to avoid losing him for nothing next year.
The same story says that Courtois is likely to leave Chelsea FC this summer but the Blues are yet to find a replacement for the goalkeeper.
The article claims that England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is their number one target, but the shot-stopper is set for contract talks at Everton when he returns from his summer holiday.
The same article claims that Courtois is valued at around £32m by Real Madrid because he has only 12 months left on his current contract with the Blues.
Chelsea FC have already signed goalkeeper Rob Green on a one-year contract, but the 38-year-old is expected to be the Blues’ third choice.
