Chelsea FC remain keen to sign Juventus duo Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani, according to a report

Chelsea FC director Marina Granovskaia is set to meet with owner Roman Abramovich in Nice to discuss remaining transfer targets this summer, according to a report in England.
The Evening Standard is reporting that Juventus defender Daniele Rugani remains a priority for the west London side as new manager Maurizio Sarri looks to improve his defence ahead of the new season.
The same article states that Chelsea FC have made a £44.2m offer and the FA Cup winners are prepared to give the Italy international a contract worth around £77,000 a week.
According to the same story, the Blues remain interested in Argentina and Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain but Chelsea FC will face competition from AC Milan.
Chelsea FC appointed Sarri as their new manager after the west London side axed Antonio Conte following their fifth-placed finish in the Premier League last term.
Sarri has completed two deals in the summer transfer window so far following the addition of Jorginho in a £57m deal from Napoli and England international Rob Green.
Chelsea FC failed to qualify for the Champions League last term to condemn the Blues to a season in the Europa League.
The west London side have won the Premier League title in two of the past four seasons.
