Sky Sports News reporter Michael Bridge confirms Chelsea FC want to sign Manchester United forward Anthony Martial

Chelsea FC are one of three clubs interested in a potential deal to sign Manchester United forward Anthony Martial, according to Sky Sports News reporter Michael Bridge.
The France international has been regularly linked with a potential exit at Old Trafford this summer after struggling to hold down a regular starting spot under Jose Mourinho.
Martial has fallen further down the pecking order following the arrival of Chile forward Alexis Sanchez in a swap deal from Arsenal back in January.
The 22-year-old’s inconsistent performances and lack of playing time culminated in Martial being omitted from France’s World Cup squad as les Bleus won the competition for the second time.
Chelsea FC have endured a frustrating transfer window so far but new manager Maurizio Sarri is sure to be looking to get some deals over the line but deadline day next month.
Martial has been touted as a potential replacement for Real Madrid target Eden Hazard but Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the Manchester United winger.
Sky Sports News reporter Bridge provided an update on Martial’s situation in the summer transfer window.
“Chelsea are interested,” Bridge told the Transfer Talk podcast. “They haven’t made a formal offer. Bayern will only make a move if Man United lower their asking price.
Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013 but the Red Devils finished in second place in the table last term to secure their best finish since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
