Chelsea FC close to agreement with 18-year-old – report
Chelsea FC are close to tying down Callum Hudson-Odoi to a new deal, according to a report

Chelsea FC are close to agreeing terms to keep English wonderkid Callum Hudson-Odoi at Stamford Bridge, according to a report in England.
Website Goal is reporting that new Chelsea FC manager Frank Lampard has already spoken to Hudson-Odoi since his appointment last week.
The same article states that Chelsea FC are confident that Hudson-Odoi is closer to putting pen to paper after being filled with confidence about his role at the west London club.
According to the same story, Hudson-Odoi’s new contract is expected to be worth around £100,000 a week.
Goal go on to report that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich will give up their bid to sign the Chelsea FC teenager if he signs a contract extension at Stamford Bridge.
Hudson-Odoi is currently sidelined after he ruptured his Achilles tendon in April to bring to a premature end his breakthrough season at Chelsea FC under Lampard’s predecessor Maurizio Sarri.
The English talent made one assist in 10 appearances in the Premier League last term, although Sarri used the winger sparingly in the first part of the campaign.
Hudson-Odoi scored four times in nine games in the Europa League to play his part in Chelsea FC’s run to the final.
The Blues were 4-1 winners against bitter rivals Arsenal in the Europa League final in Baku back in May.
