Chelsea FC are interested in a deal to sign Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, according to a report

Chelsea FC are chasing Juventus defender Daniele Rugani despite uncertainty surrounding Antonio Conte’s future at Stamford Bridge, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Blues are interested in a potential deal to sign the Italian centre-half to improve their centre-half options ahead of the new season.
The same article states that Chelsea FC have added the Juventus star to their transfer wishlist but the Serie A champions will demand in the region of £26m for Rugani.
According to the same story, Juventus have met with Rugani’s representatives in Milan this week to discuss Chelsea FC’s reported interest in the Italian starlet.
Rugani moved to Juventus during Conte’s stint in charge of Juventus before the retired defender took over the reins of the Italian national team.
The Italy international has won three Serie A titles and the Coppa Italia three times during his three-season spell in the Juventus senior squad so far.
Conte brought in Lugani from Empoli in 2013 and the centre-half spent three seasons in the Juventus youth teams before he made his debut in 2015.
His first appearance came in a 2-0 win over Sevilla in the Champions League group stage in 2015.
