Chris Sutton sends warning to Chelsea FC about selling Real Madrid target Eden Hazard

Chris Sutton has sent Chelsea FC a stern warning about selling Eden Hazard to Real Madrid before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
The Blues have been contending with persistent speculation linking Hazard with a move to the Champions League leaders throughout the 2018 summer transfer window.
Real Madrid are looking to sign a world class player to fill Cristiano Ronaldo’s void up front following the Portugal international’s move to Serie A champions Juventus last month.
Hazard has little under 24 months left to run on his current deal with the west London outfit and the Belgian hasn’t reached an agreement with Chelsea FC over a new deal.
The Chelsea FC forward was unable to fire the Stamford Bridge outfit to a top four finish last season as the Blues missed out on a Champions League for the 2018-19 campaign.
Former Chelsea FC striker Sutton warned the Blues that they can ill afford to allow Hazard to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
“If they let Hazard go they’re finished, they’ve got no chance this season,” Sutton told BT Sport.
“Courtois, that situation still seems to be up in the air and needs to be resolved, as do a lot of things.”
Chelsea FC lost 2-0 to Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley last weekend.
Hazard played a key role in Chelsea FC’s Premier League title successes in 2015 and 2017.
The Belgian forward has also won the FA Cup, the Europa League and the League Cup over the past six seasons.
