Journalist gives latest Chelsea FC transfer update on Eden Hazard
Daily Record journalist Ian McGarry believes Eden Hazard is unlikely to stay at Chelsea FC beyond next summer

Eden Hazard is unlikely to stay at Chelsea FC, according to Daily Record journalist Ian McGarry.
The Belgium international was linked with a potential move to Champions League holders Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
However, Hazard ultimately remained at the west London side following the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as Antonio Conte’s replacement.
The 27-year-old has scored five times in five outings in the Premier League to make a prolific start to the new Premier League season.
Hazard has less than 24 months left to run on his current deal and has held negotiations with Chelsea FC over a new deal.
Daily Record reporter McGarry claimed that Hazard will leave Chelsea FC next summer amid interest from at least three clubs.
“I doubt Hazard will stay,” McGarry told the Transfer Window podcast.
“Hazard in June next year will be in the same contract situation as Courtois.
“He looks to me as a man who is very calm.”
Hazard moved to Chelsea FC in a big money deal from Ligue 1 side Lille in the 2012 summer transfer window.
The Belgian forward has won two Premier League titles, the League Cup, the FA Cup and the Champions League during his spell at Chelsea FC.
The Blues star was named the PFA player of the year in 2015 following Chelsea FC’s title success.
