Agent confirms Chelsea FC in talks to make Brazilian their second January signing
Chelsea FC want to sign Emerson Palmieri from Roma, according to the defender's agent

Chelsea FC are in talks with Roma about the possibility of signing Emerson Palmieri in the January transfer window, according to the Brazilian’s agent.
The Blues have been linked with a move to sign the 23-year-old defender in recent days as Antonio Conte looks to further bolster his squad this month.
Now, the player’s agent Fernando Garcia appears to have confirmed that Chelsea are indeed interested in signing the Brazilian in the January transfer window.
Garcia is quoted as saying by the Daily Express: “Chelsea are a concrete possibility, absolutely.
“Now the two clubs are talking, we’ll see if they reach a positive conclusion.”
The 23-year-old has only recently returned from a serious knee injury and has only made one substitute appearance in Serie A for Roma so far this season.
Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for further reinforcements this month after the Blues secured the signing of Ross Barkley from Everton in a deal believed to be worth around £20m.
Meanwhile, the Blues are currently preparing for their Premier League trip to Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday lunchtime as they look to try and climb the table.
Conte’s men, who won the title in style last season, find themselves down in fourth place in the Premier League table after their goalless draw with Leicester last weekend.
