Sky Sports News reporter: Chelsea FC could ‘roll the dice’ on 31-year-old signing
Sky Sports News reporter Michael Bridge hints that Chelsea FC could sign Leicester's Kasper Schmeichel this summer

Chelsea FC could roll the dice on Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, reporter Michael Bridge has claimed.
The Leicester goalkeeper helped Denmark to reach the World Cup knockout round after getting out of a tough group.
Denmark drew 1-1 with Croatia in the round of 16 to force a penalty shootout with a place in the quarter-final up for grabs.
Schmeichel made two saves but Croatia still progressed thanks to a narrow 3-2 penalty shootout win.
The Foxes goalkeeper has been linked with a potential exit in the 2018 summer transfer window following Leicester’s regression.
Chelsea FC are facing a battle to keep Belgium international Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge amid interest from Real Madrid.
Sky Sports News reporter Bridge believes Chelsea FC could take a gamble on Schmeichel should Courtois leave for Real Madrid.
“I think someone might roll the dice on Kasper Schmeichel,” Bridge told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“Chelsea and Roma need new goalkeepers. Leicester have a ready made replacement in Danny Ward. It will take a ridiculous bid.”
Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a spot in the Champions League.
The Blues have only signed Italy international Jorginho in a £57m deal from Serie A runners up Napoli this summer.
