Chelsea FC are eager to sign Inter Milan star Matias Vecino and Juventus defender Mattia Caldera, according to a report

Chelsea FC are interested in a deal to sign Inter Milan star Matias Vecino and Juventus defender Mattia Caldera in the summer transfer window, according to a report in England.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the Blues are looking to raid Serie A to improve their squad depth under new Chelsea FC boss Maurizio Sarri ahead of the new season.
The same article states that the west London side opened talks with Inter Milan to sign Vecino but the San Siro outfit are likely to demand a transfer fee in the region of £31m.
According to the same story, Chelsea FC have made a £35.5m offer for Juventus defender Caldera as Sarri looks to improve his defence following a mixed 2017-18 season.
The Evening Standard adds that Chelsea FC are growing frustrated with their protracted pursuit of highly rated Juventus centre-half Daniele Rugani.
Chelsea FC finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term to miss out on a spot in the Champions League for the second time in three seasons.
The Blues were 1-0 winners against Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley thanks to Eden Hazard’s winner from the penalty spot.
