Chelsea FC set to offer 27-year-old new £290,000-a-week contract – report
Chelsea FC will offer N'Golo Kante a bumper new contract if the defensive midfielder remains at Stamford Bridge, according to a report

Chelsea FC are ready to hand N’Golo Kante a new contract thought to be worth around £290,000 a week, according to a report in England.
The Times is reporting that the Blues are ready to make the France international the best paid player at the west London side, which would be a fitting reward for his excellent performances at Chelsea FC.
The same article states that the west London side have offered the defensive midfielder a five-year deal worth up to £15m a season to make Kante one of the Premier League’s top earners.
According to the same story, Kante’s new deal would take the World Cup winner comfortably past Eden Hazard’s current pay packet of £220,000 a week at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea FC will be desperate to sign Kante to a new deal given Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a swoop to sign the French defensive midfielder.
La Liga champions FC Barcelona have also been linked with a swoop to sign the French defensive midfielder to complement Spain international Sergio Busquets.
Chelsea FC signed Kante in a £30m deal from Leicester City in the 2016 summer transfer window after the French star helped the Foxes to win the Premier League title in 2016.
