Chelsea FC reject Real Madrid offer for 27-year-old – report
Chelsea FC have turned down Real Madrid's £31m bid to sign Thibaut Courtois this summer, according to a report

Chelsea FC have turned down a £31m bid for Thibaut Courtois from Real Madrid, according to a report in England.
The Daily Express is reporting that the Belgium international is the subject of a big bid from the Champions League holders ahead of the new La Liga season.
The same article states that Real Madrid have offered £31m to sign the Chelsea FC number given Courtois has less than 12 months to run on his current contract.
According to the same story, the Blues have been unable to line up a replacement for Courtois, which is the chief reason why the Belgian has been denied his move to Real Madrid.
The west London side were linked with a swoop to sign Brazil international Alisson from AS Roma but Liverpool FC completed a world record £67m deal to sign the South American last month.
Chelsea FC have also been linked with a move to sign Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland, Leicester City shot stopper Kasper Schmeichel and Everton’s England star Jordan Pickford.
The west London side finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a Champions League spot.
The Blues were 1-0 winners against Manchester United in the FA Cup final to end the season with some silverware.
