Maurizio Sarri ready to offload Chelsea FC’s forgotten man – report
Victor Moses is set to be put up for sale in the January transfer window as Chelsea FC look to offload the Nigerian star, according to a report
Chelsea FC could look to sell Victor Moses in the January transfer window, according to a report in England.
The Sun is reporting that the Blues are looking to cash in on the 27-year-old given Moses has been overlooked by new Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri.
The same article states that Chelsea FC will place a £12m price tag on Moses’ head as the top-four contenders look to raise transfer funds in the upcoming window.
According to the same story, Crystal Palace are heading the queue to sign the versatile winger but could face competition from their London rivals Fulham.
A Palace swoop for Moses wouldn’t be too farfetched, given that the Nigerian winger came through the club’s academy before his move to Wigan Athletic in 2010.
The African star has been at Chelsea FC since August 2012 but Moses has spent time on loan at Liverpool FC and Stoke City.
Moses produced some of the best football of his career during the 2016-17 season under Antonio Conte.
The Italian head coach used the Nigerian star in a wing-back role in his title-winning Chelsea FC team.
Moses netted four times in 40 games to earn rave reviews but Sarri’s appointment has seen a reverse of his fortunes at Stamford Bridge.
The Chelsea FC star has made just two appearances in the Premier League this term.
