Willian wants to remain at Chelsea FC but the Manchester United target’s future hinges on Antonio Conte’s future at Stamford Bridge, according to a report in England.
The Sun is reporting that the Brazil international is keen to stick with the west London outfit despite the prospect of a potential reunion with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
The same article states that Willian’s future remains in doubt with Conte’s long-term future at the 2017 Premier League champions still far from certain.
The 29-year-old caused controversy at the weekend after he appeared to edit Conte out of his Instagram photo depicting the Chelsea FC squad with the FA Cup trophy at Wembley.
Willian didn’t feature in the FA Cup final until the final minutes of normal time in Chelsea FC’s 1-0 win against Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.
According to the same story, the South American is disillusioned with life under Conte and the Chelsea FC manager has fazed out his compatriot David Luiz at Stamford Bridge.
Willian was voted Chelsea FC’s player of the season following a return of 14 goals and eight assists in 54 games in all competitions in the 2017-18 season.
The Blues finished in fifth place in the Premier League table.
