Sunday Times reporter Duncan Castles says Chelsea FC are reluctant to spend big on Juve striker Gonzalo Higuain

Chelsea FC are reluctant to pay a high transfer fee and high wages for Gonzalo Higuain, according to Sunday Times reporter Duncan Castles.
The Blues are in the market to sign a new striker in the summer transfer window following Alvaro Morata’s disappointing season.

The west London outfit have been linked with a move to sign the Argentina international to bolster Maurizio Sarri’s attack.
The FA Cup winners are being linked with a move to sign Higuain after Sarri worked with the South American forward at Napoli.
Higuain scored 36 goals in 35 games in the 2015-16 Serie A campaign to produce a career best return for a single season.
Sunday Times reporter Castles believes the Blues board are reluctant to match Juventus’ asking price for the 30-year-old.
“Sarri would take Higuain from Juventus,” Castles told the Transfer Window podcast.
“Juventus want to move him on. Chelsea are concerned about paying a high fee and high wages for a player in his 30s.”
