Chelsea will be without 24-year-old summer signing for Crystal Palace trip – report
Alvaro Morata is set to miss Chelsea's trip to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, according to reports

Chelsea will be without Alvaro Morata for Saturday’s short trip to Crystal Palace, according to reports.
The Daily Express is reporting that the defending Premier League champions won’t be able to call upon their summer signing’s services for the London derby at Selhurst Park.
Morata suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Premier League leaders Manchester City in their last top-flight fixture before the international break.
The Spain international limped off the pitch with an apparent hamstring injury as Antonio Conte’s side succumbed to their second defeat of the 2017-18 season.
According to the report, Morata has suffered a grade 2 hamstring injury which will rule Morata out of action for the trip to Palace despite the striker embarking on an “intensive” rehabilitation regime.
The 24-year-old has made an impressive start to the Premier League season following a return of six goals in seven games in the English top flight so far.
The Premier League title holders signed Morata in a £58m deal from La Liga giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Morata scored Chelsea’s equaliser in a 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League in the Spanish capital last month.
