Chelsea have turned a corner in title race, claims ex-striker
Former Man City striker Craig Bellamy believes Chelsea have turned the corner in the title race

Chelsea have turned a corner in their season, according to Craig Bellamy.
The Blues endured a mixed start to the season following a 3-2 loss to Burnley at Stamford Bridge in their season opener.
The defending champions went on to lose to Crystal Palace and Manchester City to fall nine points off the pace in the title race.
However, Antonio Conte’s side won four successive Premier League games to find some momentum before a credible 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.
Chelsea made a swift return to winning ways on Wednesday night with a narrow 1-0 win over Swansea at Stamford Bridge before a 3-1 home win against Newcastle United on Saturday evening.
The Blues have a kind of run of fixtures that sees the title holders avoid a top-six rival until late December to give Conte’s side the chance to make up lost ground in the title race.
And former Manchester City striker Bellamy believes Chelsea are in a strong position following some excellent performances over the past month or so.
“Chelsea have had a big turn. Chelsea look good. They look like the team that did so well last season,” Bellamy told Sky Sports.
Chelsea have won the Premier League title in two of the past three seasons.
The Blues finished seven points clear of Spurs in the title race last term.
