Gary Neville tells Chelsea fans David Luiz responsible for Tottenham win
The Manchester United legend praises David Luiz's role in Chelsea's 2-1 win at Tottenham on Sunday

Gary Neville has credited David Luiz with turning Sunday’s London derby on its head after Chelsea were 2-1 winners against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Premier League champions made the trip to the home of English football in search of three points after a 3-2 loss to Burnley at Stamford Bridge in their season opener.
Tottenham eased to a 2-0 victory over 10-man Newcastle United at St James’ Park earlier this month to make a positive start to the new campaign.
Antonio Conte opted to start Luiz in midfield in the absence of suspended Cesc Fabregas after the Spain international was sent off in the first Premier League game of the 2017-18 term.
The Brazil international played a key role in Marcos Alonso’s late winner after Luiz won the ball in a challenge with Victor Wanyama before the Spanish defender finished past Hugo Lloris.
Former Manchester United defender Neville heaped praise on Brazilian star Luiz for his performance in the London derby.
“David Luiz, there were bits in the first half, I think Jamie Redknapp on the commentary showed a really good clip of him sort of losing his position, but it didn’t develop,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“He was outstanding in the second half, David Luiz. That is the tackle of the match.
“He has to make that challenge, I think that’s going to be a five v four.
“He makes that challenge and all of a sudden the game swings on its head.”
Chelsea won the Premier League title in their first season under the management of Conte.
The Blues have signed Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero, AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger, Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata this summer.
