Mark Lawrenson: Chelsea star good enough to play for Real Madrid
The Liverpool legend believes Chelsea number 10 has the talent to play for Barcelona or Real Madrid

Mark Lawrenson has warned Chelsea that Eden Hazard is good enough to play for Barcelona or Real Madrid.
The defending Premier League champions have endured a mixed 2017-18 season so far following their title success last term.
Chelsea went eight games unbeaten throughout October and November to prompt talk of a potential title challenge despite Manchester City’s commanding lead at the top of the table.
However, the west London side suffered a surprise 1-0 loss to West Ham United at the London Stadium last weekend.
Hazard has been in excellent form in recent months but the Belgium international was powerless to prevent Chelsea from suffering a surprise 1-0 loss.
The 26-year-old has scored five goals and has made two assists in 14 appearances in the Premier League this term, while Hazard has netted three goals and two assists in six Champions League outings.
The Belgian forward has regularly been linked with a move to La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid over the past few seasons.
Former Liverpool defender Lawreson warned Chelsea that Barcelona and Real Madrid would be able to find a place for Hazard in their respective teams.
“He is a player of the quality of Real Madrd, Barcelona and PSG,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“He is an outstanding player. He just had a bad day.”
The Belgian didn’t get on the score sheet in Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
Hazard has won two Premier League titles, the Europa League and the League Cup over the past five seasons at Stamford Bridge since his move to Chelsea from Lille in 2012.
