Eden Hazard sends message to Thibaut Courtois ahead of Roma v Chelsea
Eden Hazard claims Chelsea needed a clean sheet against Bournemouth on Saturday evening

Eden Hazard has claimed that Thibaut Courtois needed a clean sheet for Chelsea against Bournemouth on Saturday to boost his confidence.
The west London side secured the three points in the top flight on Saturday evening when Hazard scored his first goal of the Premier League season to hand the Blues victory.
Courtois kept a clean sheet after having previously let in 10 goals in 10 games in the Premier League before that.
And Hazard reckons that Courtois’ shut-out on Saturday will do the Belgian goalkeeper the world of good, as the Blues now prepare for their Champions League clash against Roma in Italy on Tuesday night.
Hazard told Chelsea’s website: “Sometimes in football you have a team you have confidence against. In this game I had confidence and I try to play every game like this and to score.
“I think Thibaut needed this clean sheet for the confidence and also the defensive players won the clean sheet, but all the team deserved this, we did well defensively.
“We want to keep the confidence high and for this we have to win every game.
“Now we go Tuesday to Roma to win the game and be ready for the game after.”
Saturday’s victory left Chelsea in fourth place in the Premier League table and nine points behind leaders Manchester City after 10 games of the new campaign.
The west London side are aiming to win the Premier League title once again, after having lifted the trophy in two of the last three seasons.
They return to Premier League action next weekend with a crunch clash against Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea finished in 10th place in the Premier League table in 2015-16, before Conte was brought in as the club’s new manager last summer.
