Jamie Redknapp: This Chelsea star building ‘real understanding’ with Alvaro Morata
The Liverpool legend opens up about the flourishing partnership between Chelsea duo Cesc Fabregas and Alvaro Morata

Jamie Redknapp believes Cesc Fabregas is starting to get a real understanding of Alvaro Morata’s movements.
Chelsea signed the 24-year-old striker in a £58m deal from La Liga giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Morata has scored nine goals in the Premier League this term to make an effortless transition from Real Madrid.
The Spain international is playing in front of his compatriot Fabregas, who is known as one of the Premier League’s top creative midfielders.
Indeed, Fabregas and Morata have shown signs of a flourishing understanding in recent weeks despite a disappointing 1-0 defeat at West Ham last weekend.
Former Liverpool and Spurs midfielder Redknapp is excited about the potential partnership blossoming between Chelsea’s Spanish attackers Fabregas and Morata.
“Cesc Fabregas is getting a real understanding of his movements now,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“Fabregas is always looking for him and there’s a lovely understanding in that midfield now between them.”
Chelsea signed Morta from Real Madrid in the summer despite initially being linked with a move to sign their former striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Spanish forward won two Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia crowns with Juventus, while he was a two-time La Liga winner and two-time Champions League winner during two spells at Real Madrid.
