Danny Mills questions Antonio Conte over controversial Chelsea decision
The ex-Man City defender can't understand why Chelsea star David Luiz has fallen out of favour under Antonio Conte this term

Danny Mills has questioned Antonio Conte’s decision to omit David Luiz from the Chelsea team.
The Brazilian defender played a key role in Chelsea’s title success last season in Conte’s first campaign in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Luiz forged an impressive partnership alongside Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill in the heart of the Chelsea defence.
However, the South American has dropped down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge this season following Andreas Christensen’s return from a season-long loan.
The Danish defender has managed to keep Luiz out of the team in recent months following an impressive performance in a 1-0 win against title rivals Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Luiz’s most-recent Premier League appearance came in a 1-0 win at Bournemouth at the end of October.
The 30-year-old, who has also struggled with a knee injury of late, has even been linked with a potential reunion with former manager Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
Former Man City defender Mills appeared to question Conte’s treatment of Luiz.
“What’s happened to David Luiz?” Mills told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“He was one of the best defenders in the Premier League last season. That shocked us all. Luiz was outstanding week in, week out.
“His ability to play out from the back. He could create chances.”
Luiz returned to Chelsea from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in a £28m deal in the 2016 summer transfer window.
The South American has won the Premier League, the Champions League, the Europa League and the League Cup at Chelsea.
