Paul Pogba sends message to Chelsea fans about Jose Mourinho

Paul Pogba has revealed that Jose Mourinho changed Manchester United’s tactical formation just before their 2-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League at Old Trafford last season.

Mourinho took over at Manchester United last summer after being sacked by Chelsea in December 2015.

The Portuguese coach endured a mixed first season in the Premier League at Old Trafford as the Red Devils slumped to a sixth-placed finish in the top flight.

However, the campaign will be remembered as a successful one overall after they secured their return to the Champions League by winning the Europa League title.

Goals from Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford wrapped up a 2-0 win for Manchester United over Chelsea at Old Trafford back in April.

And Pogba has revealed that Mourinho opted to change his side’s tactical approach at the last minute before the game.

Pogba told Sky Sports:

“He is the Special One because he wins. Sometimes he does some extreme things.

“Against Chelsea, he changed our tactical formation just before the game.

“We had never trained it before but it worked out well. That was special. He won three trophies in his first year, that’s special as well. He deserves his name.”
