Chelsea are being offered the chance to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to Kaveh Solhekol.
The Sky Sports News HQ reporter claims that the Blues are one of a number of potential destinations for the 28-year-old Gabon international this summer.
According to Solhekol, German side Dortmund would be willing to let the attacker leave the club for the right price this summer.
However, Chelsea could be forced to shell out a fee of around £70m is they want to bring him to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Speaking on Sky Sports News HQ on Tuesday morning, Solhekol said: “Now to another striker who is in demand.
“We are hearing this morning that Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
“He was the top scorer in Germany last season. He can leave Dortmund this summer for £70m.”
Aubameyang has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s top attacking talents in recent years, scoring 85 Bundesliga goals for Dortmund since joining from Saint-Etienne back in 2013.
Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for some attacking reinforcements this summer, with Diego Costa’s future at the club still seemingly unclear.
The Blues are preparing for a return to the Champions League next season after their Premier League title triumph last term.
