Steven Gerrard sets Chelsea challenge ahead of Man United clash
The Liverpool legend warns Antonio Conte that Chelsea need a reaction against Manchester United this weekend

Steven Gerrard has warned Antonio Conte that Chelsea need a reaction against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.
The defending Premier League champions have only managed to win two of their last six games in the Champions League and the Premier League.
Chelsea lost 3-0 to Serie A giants AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in their fourth Champions League fixture of the 2017-18 season.
The Blues have already lost to Burnley, Crystal Palace and Manchester City in the Premier League to leave Chelsea nine points behind Pep Guardiola’s men.
The title holders have no time to dwell on a disappointing result in Rome ahead of the visit of their bitter rivals Manchester United this weekend.
Chelsea were 4-0 winners against Jose Mourinho’s side at Stamford Bridge last season but the Blues could be without N’Golo Kante.
Former Liverpool captain Gerrard warned Conte that Chelsea will need to improve their performance level and their commitment against Manchester United this weekend.
“They need a reaction,” Gerrard told BT Sport.
“If they perform like they did tonight [against Roma], they’ve got no chance of winning this competition. They need to improve – and improve fast.”
Chelsea have won the Premier League title in two of the past three seasons under Mourinho and then Conte.
The Blues signed six players in the summer transfer window to improve their squad ahead of a return to the Champions League.
