Chelsea are ready to rival Manchester United for the signature of Ivan Perisic this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Times is claiming that the Blues are ready to make a move for the Croatia international, who has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford throughout the summer.

The same report states that Perisic is one of the five targets that Antonio Conte is looking to try and bring to Stamford Bridge before the close of the summer transfer window at the end of the month.

Perisic has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer but the Red Devils have been unable to settle on a fee with Inter Milan for the winger.

Now, it appears that Chelsea could be set to steal a march on their Premier League rivals and swoop for the Inter Milan attacker.

The same report also lists four other transfer targets Conte is looking to sign before the end of the window.

They are Fernando Llorente, Virgil van Dijk, Antonio Candreva and Alex Sandro.

Whether Chelsea are able to complete any deals to sign any of those players before the close of the window at the end of the month remains to be seen.
