Mark Lawrenson states his prediction for Chelsea v Man United
The Liverpool legend is tipping Manchester United to secure a point at defending champions Chelsea on Sunday evening

Mark Lawrenson believes Manchester United will secure a point at defending Premier League champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils have been criticised in recent weeks for their negative approach to their Premier League games against their top-four rivals.
Manchester United battled to a goalless draw with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side at Anfield as Mourinho’s men refused to show attacking adventure.
The Red Devils lost 2-1 against promoted side Huddersfield Town as the 20-time English champions failed to rediscover their attacking verve.
Mourinho’s side ended their two-game winless run with a 1-0 win against title rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley after Anthony Martial netted an 81st-minute winner.
Chelsea, on the other hand, have conceded 13 goals in their last six games after the Premier League title holders lost 3-0 to Serie A giants AS Roma in the Champions League in Rome.
The defending champions were 4-0 winners against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge last season thanks to goals from Pedro Rodriguez, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante.
Former Liverpool defender Lawrenson is backing Manchester United to secure a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
“When United play against the other top teams away from home Jose Mourinho will always take a point – as you saw at Liverpool,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“That is the way he manages and that isn’t going to change.
“He will try to fight fire with fire when he can but at Stamford Bridge he will have everyone behind the ball.”
Manchester United are looking to win their first Premier League title since 2013.
