Defeat by Chelsea marks a sad day for Manchester United, says Evra
Patrice Evra admitted Manchester United's FA Cup defeat by Chelsea was a "massive disappointment" for the Red Devils

Patrice Evra admitted Manchester United’s FA Cup defeat by Chelsea was a “massive disappointment” and marked a “sad day” for the Red Devils.
United saw their hopes of a domestic double ended when Demba Ba struck the winner in the second half at Stamford Bridge to book Chelsea’s place in the semi-finals against Manchester City.
Evra concedes that the defeat was a big blow for Manchester United but says that Sir Alex Ferguson’s men must now turn their attentions to bringing home the Premier League title.
“It’s a massive disappointment for us,” Evra said. “We didn’t expect to lose and we really wanted to win the double.
“A lot of players, including myself, haven’t won the FA Cup and it was an important trophy for us.
“We were really sad to lose in the Champions League, it hurt us a lot when we lost against Real Madrid. And this is another really sad day for the club, the players and the fans.
“Now we’re going to focus on the league. It’s nearly done but we have to win a few games.”
