Alvaro Morata and Cesar Azpilicueta were both in high spirits after Chelsea's 2-0 win over Brighton on Tuesday
Alvaro Morata was all smiles as he posed for a picture with Cesar Azpilicueta after having helped to fire Chelsea to a 2-0 victory over Brighton in the Premier League on Tuesday.
After a goalless first half at Stamford Bridge, Morata fired the west London side into the lead moments after half-time as he bagged his 10th Premier League goal of the season.
Marcos Alonso then continued his fine form in front of goal as he netted to help the west London side claim the three points.
It was a welcome three points for Chelsea, who returned to winning ways following the disappointment of their goalless draw with Everton at the weekend.
And Morata was clearly delighted to play his part in the victory as he posed for a photo with Azpilicueta after the victory.
Morata posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Great “Boxing Day” win!!! #GoChelsea #KTBFFH 🔵⚽️🔵➕3️⃣.”
Both Morata and Azpilicueta will be expecting to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday with a home clash against Stoke City.
Chelsea remain in third place in the Premier League table as they look to try and keep pace with runaway leaders Manchester City.
