Antonio Conte sends message to Chelsea fans about remaining signings
Antonio Conte tells Chelsea fans that he is still hoping to bolster his squad before the close of the transfer window on Thursday

Antonio Conte has told Chelsea fans that he is still hoping to bolster his squad before the close of the summer transfer window on Thursday.
The Blues have been linked with a whole host of players over the summer, but the west London side have only brought in four new players so far.
Chelsea have completed deals to sign Willy Caballero, Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Antonio Rudiger so far as Conte looks to assemble a squad capable of retaining the Premier League title this season.
However, Chelsea are widely expected to make some further signings before the close of the summer transfer window on Thursday night.
And Conte has appeared to hint that he will do what he can to bring in more players before the transfer deadline.
Speaking at a news conference at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground on Friday, Conte said: “We play seven games in a month, and I need to rotate players. If someone is thinking that I can use only 11 players or 13 players, it’s impossible. Impossible.
“I have to rotate. We must be ready to face this situation.
“We are trying to strengthen our squad and, if we are in the transfer market, that means we need to improve the squad.”
Chelsea are looking to defend their Premier League title while also challenging for the Champions League crown this season.
The Blues, who missed out on European competition altogether last season, will take on Atletico Madrid, Roma and Qarabag in the group stage from next month after the draw was made in Monaco last week.
