Antonio Conte drops big hint about Chelsea January signings
Antonio Conte hints that he is prepared to bolster his Chelsea squad in the January transfer window

Antonio Conte has hinted that he is out to bolster his Chelsea squad in the January transfer window.
The west London side will surely now be linked with a host of players in the coming days and weeks as the mid-season window presents Conte with the chance to add some quality to his squad ahead of the second half of the season.
Chelsea were one of the busiest sides in the Premier League in the summer transfer window as Conte moved quickly to bring in six new players at Stamford Bridge.
However, there were also a number of exits from Stamford Bridge in the summer, with the likes of Diego Costa, John Terry and Nathan Ake all leaving the club on permanent transfers.
That has left Conte with what he believes is a relatively thin squad, and he has hinted that he is out to strengthen his side this month, especially if any players end up leaving the west London club.
Speaking at a news conference on Tuesday afternoon, Conte said: “Our squad is not big – and for this reason I think it’s impossible to send on loan one player or to sell one player if we don’t take another player.”
Conte is now preparing his Chelsea team for their crunch FA Cup third round clash against Norwich City on Saturday evening.
The Blues won the Premier League title in style in Conte’s first campaign in charge at the club last term.
