Antonio Conte sends message to Chelsea fans about ‘incredible’ Michy Batshuayi
Antonio Conte backs Michy Batshuayi following his impressive display for Chelsea against Watford

Antonio Conte has issued his backing for Michy Batshuayi following his impressive impact off the bench in Chelsea’s 4-2 victory over Watford in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Belgian striker has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge since his move to the club from Marseille last summer.
Indeed, the 24-year-old has only started two Premier League games for Chelsea this season but he will be hoping to hold down a regular spot in the first team in the coming weeks and months.
Batshuayi came off the bench to score twice and help inspire Chelsea to secure a thrilling 4-2 victory over Watford on Saturday afternoon.
Conte has regularly spoken about his faith in Batshuayi despite the striker’s lack of playing time in recent months.
However, the Blues boss was clearly delighted by the striker’s impact off the bench at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Speaking at his post-match news conference, Conte said: “Don’t forget Michy is a young player.
“For him this is the first big experience with a great team. If you compare this season with last, Michy is playing a lot. Against Crystal Palace his performance wasn’t good, but not only his, the whole team played bad.
“I have a squad and I trust in each of my players. I try to transfer this message to my players.
“Today his impact was incredible, and he must continue in this way: to work, work, work and to have the patience to understand he has to wait his moment, and then when he has the chance, to show me he is improving.”
Chelsea’s win over Watford moved them up to fourth place int he Premier league table.
The Blues now switch their attentions back to League Cup affairs and their home clash with Everton in midweek.
