Jamie Redknapp raves about ‘incredible’ Chelsea star
Jamie Redknapp lavishes praise on Cesc Fabregas for his brilliant form for Chelsea this season

Jamie Redknapp has heaped praise on Cesc Fabregas for his brilliant form for Chelsea under Antonio Conte this season.
The Spanish playmaker struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge last term following Conte’s appointment at the club in the summer of 2016.
However, the 30-year-old has become a key player for the Blues this season after Conte opted to sell Nemanja Matic to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Indeed, Fabregas has 13 of Chelsea 16 Premier League games so far this season and has been earning plenty of praise for his performances for the west London side.
And former Liverpool FC midfielder Redknapp has singled out the Spanish playmaker for special praise after his impressive contribution this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Saturday, Redknapp said: “What we tend to forget [about Fabregas] is what he can do on the ball.
“He is one of the best technicians. Some of his passing is out of this world.
“He is an incredible player. The way that their system is working at the moment, he has less defensive responsibilities. If you give him space, he can hurt you.”
Fabregas was unable to prevent Chelsea from slipping to a disappointing 1-0 loss to West Ham United in the Premier League at the London Stadium on Saturday.
The Blues will aim to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they travel to Huddersfield Town.
The west London side will discover their opponents for the last 16 of the Champions League when the draw is made in Switzerland on Monday.
