Top striker to hold talks with Antonio Conte about Chelsea situation – report
Diego Costa is willing to hold talks with Antonio Conte about staying at Chelsea beyond the summer, say reports

Diego Costa is willing to hold “showdown” talks with Antonio Conte about his Chelsea future and could still stay at the club beyond the summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that Costa is willing to speak to the Italian boss despite the claims earlier in the summer that Conte texted the striker to let him know that he wasn’t part of his plans for next season.
The same report says that Costa is “open” to staying at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer despite suggestions that he is set to quit the club.
The article states that Costa finds himself “in limbo” because he cannot make a move back to his number one choice Atletico Madrid this summer because of the Spanish club’s transfer ban.
The story also says that the 28-year-old rejected the offer of a new contract from Chelsea towards the end of last season.
The report suggests that Conte could be ready to make a “truce” with Costa, even just for next season, with the Blues having missed out on Romelu Lukaku, who is set to sign for Manchester United.
Chelsea are preparing for a return to the Champions League next season after their Premier League title triumph last term.
