Frank Lampard names two players key to Chelsea’s improved form
Frank Lampard opens up about Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata's impressive link-up at Chelsea

Frank Lampard has credited Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata for helping Chelsea to find some improved form under Antonio Conte this season.
The Blues have been in good shape in recent weeks and have won four of their last five Premier League games to leave them in third place in the table.
Chelsea also secured their place in the last 16 of the Champions League, although they were held to a 1-1 draw by Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night which means they qualified as runners-up in their group.
Morata has been getting to grips with life in London following his transfer to the club from Real Madrid in the summer, and the Spain international has been in good form.
Importantly, the 25-year-old appears to have quickly established an understanding with Hazard at Stamford Bridge, with the attacking duo combining brilliantly for Conte’s men.
And Chelsea legend Lampard feels that the pair’s understanding, coupled with the return from injury of N’Golo Kante, has been the key for Conte’s side in recent weeks.
Speaking to BT Sport on Tuesday night about Chelsea’s form in general, Lampard said: “I think we’re seeing a bit more fluency in the team [now].
“The difference from last year is that they’ve had a few injuries to key players. Kante is now fit and playing – and when he’s playing Chelsea are obviously a better team.
“Hazard and Morata have started this click between them, where they’re on the same wavelength and scoring goals.
“We’re seeing a Chelsea like we used to – even when they’re not at their best they can get results, and when they’re at their best they’re a top team.”
Chelsea are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.
