Rio Ferdinand admits that he still gets nightmares from having played against Chelsea star Eden Hazard

Rio Ferdinand has admitted that he still gets “nightmares” from playing against Chelsea star Eden Hazard for Manchester United.
The Belgian playmaker has been in superb form for the west London side in recent weeks and seems to be rediscovering his best game under Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard has scored five goals and made two assists in 12 Premier League games so far this season to help Chelsea up to third place in the table.
Ferdinand came up against Hazard during the final few years of his career in the Premier League after the Belgian’s move to Chelsea from Lille back in 2012.
And the former Manchester United defender has admitted that he did not enjoy having to defend against Hazard during the playmaker’s first few years at Chelsea.
Speaking to BT Sport on Tuesday night, Ferdinand said: “I still remember and I still get nightmares.
“I used to just be happy he was staying wide at that point… under [Jose] Mourinho he stayed very much on the left-hand side so didn’t really come into my area which was a blessing.
“But now we’re seeing him all over the frontline – he’s fantastic to watch and he’s the man that really makes this Chelsea team tick.”
Hazard will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday lunchtime with a trip to the London Stadium to take on West Ham United.
The Blues are currently third in the Premier League table behind both of the Manchester clubs as they look to try and defend their title this season.
