Frank Lampard reacts to Eden Hazard’s display in Chelsea’s draw with Atletico
Frank Lampard heaps praise on Eden Hazard following his strong display in Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid

Frank Lampard hailed Eden Hazard as the “main man” after the Belgian helped Chelsea to come from behind and earn a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Blues fell behind in the second half after a goalless first half when Saul Niguez headed home to put the visitors in front.
However, good play from Hazard led to the equaliser, when the playmaker’s shot was deflected in off Stefan Savic.
Hazard looks to be back to his best form for Chelsea, with the 26-year-old having scored eight goals and made four assists in all competitions so far this season.
And former Chelsea star Lampard was clearly impressed by Hazard’s contribution on Tuesday night as he helped his side conjure an equaliser.
Speaking to BT Sport after the game, Lampard said: “It was great work from Eden Hazard.
“He’s the main man for Chelsea at the minute, he’s creating everything.
“Chelsea responded very well to going a goal down. They created a lot of chances. But he is the main man.
“He makes things happen. His speed off the mark and his balance is too good.”
The result meant that Chelsea qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League as group runners-up.
Hazard will be expecting to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon with a trip to West Ham United.
Chelsea are currently third in the Premier League table as they look to try and catch Manchester City in the race for the title.
